Our youth program provides a place for our kids to pursue their interests in raising and showing quality dairy goats under the supervision of experienced MDGA members.  Participants in the youth program also develop fundamental life skills that will help them in virtually any future career!  Examples include:

• communication skills – being able to speak effectively with judges and other experts in the show ring;
• technical skills – learning how to care for and show their goats; and
• time management skills – learning how to care for their animals while also managing a school workload and home chores.

In addition, the youth program helps our kids build self confidence!
